RIP Raquel Welch

Just curious, are Dave Bevin, Skipper Burns or Percy Helmer still around? I was in Brown Dorm with Dave and Skipper and even met up with Skipper a few times over the years but not lately. 1970 was my last year there in AE so went to work after that.

Dave and Skipper are still around.... no idea about Percy.

Beavin's roomie, Frank McCloskey, is still in the vertical, too.

Bobby Barr is a dentist in Tallahassee. Played golf with him a couple times
 
Deepsnap, how about Chip Everhart? I lived in FL for a few years and his parents and I went to the same church. Truly great folks! I know his dad passed a few years ago, and likely his mom too. Just wondering about Chip. His dad had his old white helmet. Not sure if real or replica.

Rock Perdoni is a freakin moose, especially for that era. That’s him with rockin Raquel in the bottom right picture. No wonder UGA could not block him in the 1969 & 1970 games. UGA scored a total of 7 points in those eight quarters of football.

Haven't seen Chip in a long, long time.

IIRC, haven't seen any notice out of Lucius Sanford's office about Chip having passed.

Rock was 5'11", 240. Same size & strength as Chip Kell at Tennessee, which is why they had a couple of epic games against each other.

Just for reference, Carson is standing on the curb right behind Rock & Budro is still shorter than Rock.:lol:

And just for the record, that composite is mis-labelled as being 1970..... the visit to the studio was on Oct 23, 1969, the game vs USC on Oct 25.
