Rivalry Weekend Games

Since the season is ending the ACC Refs getting their money's worth.

Nice job with the jinx by the announcers.

No Heisman now.

Edit: still a chance

Tech has beaten the top 3 teams in the Coastal and lost to two of the bottom 3. I think it’s safe to say the QB was not prepared against UVA, and Pyron getting hurt against Miami did not help our cause in that game. Just think … we pull those two games out and we’re in the ACCCG … isn’t that some crap!

The loss to UVA hurts. They are such a bad team.

Not having Pyron ready to go was the biggest mistake of Key's relatively short (so far) tenure.
I have explained this before but one more time won't hurt.

Pyron was on the Scout team until the day Collins was fired. Key & co immediately promoted him to the regular team - now the dates and days between are fading but Pyron had zero reps with starters and had not been exposed to our playbook at all. There is literally now way he could have started vs UVa. Blame the idiot clown for that. Its a miracle Key/Long/Weinke got him ready as fast as they did (and credit to Pyron as well, obviously).

I wouldn't have wanted him to start vs UVA. Sims was clearly the right option. But as a backup, there's no way Pyron could have been worse. Pyron with twn percent of the playbook would have been better than what we got from Gibson.

Ferentz only needed a win to go to Indy for the title game. And they got smacked by a horrid Nebraska.
