Roberson ranks ACC Games

In all honesty I might not put our us over Bama on that one. I do agree with putting Miami - OU far down that list. Tired of people saying it's a good non-conference game. That's like saying us vs Jax St is a good non-conference game. Game will go about the same way to.

Don't underestimate the departure of Mr. Nix. Miami will be better and Oklahomo will be heavily rebuilding/reloading. I still think OU wins, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a close game down in North Cuba.

OU is not rebuilding, at positions of vacancy they are reloading. Expect their D to be better. AND, you mustn't forget they have the reigning Heisman Trophy winner coming back under center. I'd hardly categorize 2009 as a rebuilding year for OU. They will destroy Miami, I promise.

OU is rebuilding, look for them to have some set backs and only average 49 points per game instead of 50.

I thought Oklahoma was losing a bunch of starters from their O-line this season. If this game was earlier in the season, and Randy Shannon could finally make good on the talent he has on the defensive side of the ball, then I'd say that Miami may be able to make a game out of it. But despite the improvement they made by showing Nix the door, they won't stand a chance in October against OU.

Well they are losing people off the O Line, but I don't expect Miami to be any better on defense next year than they were last year. Basically they downgraded in terms of D Coordinator and we showed what happens when you ruffle that defenses feathers. It all depends on what has happened to Miami at that point. Remember by then they'd have played FSU, us and VT. I also don't see Shannon as a big motivator, to me he comes across as an enforcer, but that's just me.

Define "destroy". By a margin of three touchdowns? Or more than that?
You see, I think Miami wins 9 games this year and not only saves Shannon's job, but gets him an extension.

why is GT vs UGA in the top 10 let alone 2nd? UGA isn't even going to be good this year.

To appease the mouthbreathers who infiltrate the AJC GT blogs. Let's not forget he's a Cow College grad.

I think it's more because of the non-conference teams played by ACC teams next season, Georgia is the best one that might not be favored to win the game.

I am of like mind with Yukonwreck. At some point during the season, Miami will begin to play rather than think. By November, Miami will be very tough to beat. I also think that CU and UG will be better than the pundits rank them because in each case, last year's weakness will become this year's strength.

You're crazy if you think UGAy is not going to be good. They'll win atleast nine. Their O-line is gonna be good good good! I think they'll win 9 maybe 10. More likely 9.

Yes, my biggest concern is if we have the hosses up front to stop their OL running the ball down our throat. So many years, I've seen them with an experienced line that we just could not handle.

How many starts does ugags OL have? That seems to be the new trendy way to measure it.

Their o line worries me as well. If we can keep them from running the ball on us we win by 14.

I'm not sure right off the top of my head but I know they have a lot coming back from an experienced line. They also suffered from injuries last yr.

We are helped in that area because what seems to be one of their biggest concerns (especially after watch that sad sack offense from their spring game) is finding someone to be running back. They got a lot of guys for the position but no ones stepped up.

Ugag may not have the best team this year, but that doesn't mean they won't be good. If you are already chalking this game up as a win, you are crazy. I expect GT/Ugay to be a close game this year and the next 5 years. They better not overlook us, and we better not overlook them.

They are still the toughest game on our schedule.
