Rock bottom

So because other teams in the south are good, we have to be bad? Then why try?
Sitting in a huge recruiting hotbed has less of an impact when you are literally surrounded by hugely successful, wealthy programs. Sure, we can do better than we have been even in recruiting GA high schoolers, but you're basically gesturing at a wealth of talent we likely won't have access to.

So the question assuming your perspective is why try?

The question assuming your perspective is why are you such a whiny little girl?

I guess I'm "whiny" because I want us to do better. I see us sitting among the motherland of the country's football talent and and think we should be better than the OP's description of "rock bottom." I see us as a member of a top conference that assures us of steady cash flow that should have us competing at way better than most in the ACC that do not enjoy our resources. I see a fan base that has the capability of supporting our team at the highest levels as we know we've done before. I simply don't see why you blast someone that doesn't think that being lousy and possibly not even 2nd in our State is acceptable. Unfortunately, it may take some fans that get "whiny" if we want to achieve more than apparently is acceptable to you.

The ACC has a crappy contract compared to the BIG10 and SEC. May as well be the AAC

We all want us to do better, dumbass. Not all of us whine like little girls though.

And your comment about us being in a top conference and a steady cash flow show you’re just a moron. The ACC is absolutely not competitive with other conferences in that.

Unlike you, I whine like a little girl

If the conference is the problem, if we have no recruiting advantages as a result of our location, and if our fan base and tradition is irrelevant, then what is the point of firing coaches and hiring a new AD? Seems to be a useless exercise if the cards are so stacked against us.

The conference is absolutely the problem. The tards that were running it when we took in Miami and VT at their peak didn't leverage that in any way. Meanwhile, the SEC and BIG10 commissioners went in swinging their big members and made huge deals.

Swofford was a horrible commissioner who was picked because of Duke, UNC, NC State, and Wake basketball.
