Just read on another GT website that Roddy broke his wrist while lifting and will be out for 10 weeks. He said his source was very good, but anyone else know anything?

Well, if it is true, I suppose he should be fine before the first game, though it doesn't seem like he'll be able to do much training or practice until around then.

Good news is he can use the Jax State game to take it easy. It's these situations where having depth is nice.

Worries me a bit. Hopefully he can be back in time for Jax St. to get some live game experience, hitting/blocking. He will be able to stay in shape but missing all the contact will hurt. Also he was our top kick returner last year, hopefully someone else can step up.

Yeah good point. Though, we have a big game five days after, and I think that is where depth is more important.

better now than during the season.

also must be lifting hard to break a wrist=workin hard. hopefully the other guys are too!

might as well be positive.

Anthony Allen and Marcus Wright will start now. Peeples will fill in along with Cox?

I'm going to wait until this is confirmed by reputable sources before I start to worry...

Well, how bad do you see this as being, gt23eric? He will miss pre-season work outs and stuff, though he should be healed about a week before the first game.

Just a thought: Since Jax St. is our cupcake game, this may be the best opportunity to give Anthony Allen some real game time to see how well he does.

This worries me a bit. He's out almost all of Summer. He's going to be quite rusty. This is a good chance for Marcus and Anthony to take away his starting job though.
