Don’t recall seeing it in any other threads but QB Trad Beatty, OL Austin Smith, and WR Zach Owens are no longer listed on the roster on ramblinwreck.com
 
Trad was a weird add to begin with. He was medically done before transferring. Then he had two of the greatest practice weeks in the history of organized sports and still couldn’t see the field.

Sounds like he might have finished up his grad degree and will find a job. Good for him.
 
How is it that were losing ol when we've been hurting for depth?
 
Having only 2 scholarship QB right now is no bueno. Hope we pick up one of the transfers.

Smith was pushing for a starting spot at guard and was then hurt for the season.

Not to be Debbie Downer but Mike May just graduated and so has Minihan so either could leave with eligibility on the table.

Quinney and Clark did it last year.

These 3 players never saw the field IIRC. Except for the QB who only took one snap real quick when Yates lost his helmet or something.

Aren't we getting our OL recruit's brother transferring in? At least that is the speculation

That is the speculation right now. I would think we should add a 4th QB as well.

We could use Minihan for depth but we aren't really losing anything with anyone else. Barring injury, we should have a decent 2 deep at OL next year.

LT - Leftwich/Pendley
LG - Quick/Vaipulu
C - Minihan/Franklin
RG - Tchio/Pendley
RT - Williams/Green

Could also see Jordan Williams slide down to guard and one of the transfers out to T. I believe we are still looking for one more OL transfer to add a little more depth at T.

So basically we brought him in so GTAA could pay for grad school.

Really would like to see Green pit in the work and grab that slot or at least make it a 2 man rotation

I think Green does make it into the 2 deep but think we're still looking for one more for depth.

wow I count 112 listed on roster. Does anyone know how many walk-ons we have?
Scholly limit is still 85 isn't it?

We have enough depth right now that there should be no excuse for not fashioning a serviceable if not decent OL. We also have some recruits that are pretty good. Who knows? Maybe one or more of them can find playing time as well.
