run/pass balance

Does anyone else think our run/pass ration was a little too heavy on the run today? The wide open pass to Roddy was great and I really think we caught them off guard.

IMO I just think we tried to rely on the run a little too much today when we could have passed a little more to keep VT on their toes some. I know we were missing some key receivers but I still have confidence in the team to make catches and Nesbitt made some good throws today. However, the fact that our O-line is crumbling so fast doesn't help the passing game.

I have total faith in CPJ and we are getting better but I'm just wondering if anyone felt the same way

Are you serious? It was that very ratio that put the ball between Roddy Jones' finger tips with the opportunity to win the game in the 4th. Unfortunately, the pass was a touch long and Roddy was a touch slow, but the play caught VT completely off guard! They never know what we're going to do and the second they assume rush, it's a swift kick to the balls.
