Is listed as having a high interest in GT, which GT did offer him. He has a pretty good 40 at 4.4 secs and already runs the 3 option. My question is do we need him per se? We have Nesbitt, Sims (who can be A-back too), Washington, Jaybo, and Luallen.

5 or 6 Qb's? I guess PJ just expects to reload as opposed to wait and use the scholly's elsewhere like most other coaches do with QB's so there is a drop off.

....anyways just food for thought.......Ryan White does have nice upside though...

I think he has a verbal offer, not a written one as of yet, but I could be wrong. I've heard nothing but great things about him.

And on a side note, apparently we have 9 committs while only 8 are listed. Just a rumor. Wonder who it could be?

Where did you hear the 9 commit thing from?

To answer your question PJ wasn't going to offer a Qb unless he was really impressed.

I don't think that White has an offer, may be waiting on the Hill, etc.

I haven't heard anything about a silent commit.

Williams said that he was going to take visits. I don't think that he would be a silent at this point.

Shawn Green is the only other that I could imagine being a silent at this point

But again, I personally haven't heard anything related to this rumor

Ryan White has a verbal offer from GT not a written offer, which apparently means he has a non-commitable offer. He is our top QB we are after.

I also imagine that sometime by the start of the 2010 season, Jaybo, Washington, and/or Sims will be moved from the QB position to the A-back position or somewhere else.

I would think we would have to move someone to accommodate yet another QB.

Scout does say White's interest is high, which is good.

I too have not heard anything about a silent commit either, I guess that would be "insider" info though.

I would not get my hopes up on M. Brown. I believe he has effectively removed us from consideration.

Also, could you post a link to this "other site"? Just curious. Thanks.

I'm hoping it's Williams. Or Mack Brown:bowdown:

Mack Brown is super fast, but for a short, shifty quick back he has too long of a stride, which causes him to get off balance and easily knocked down. Everytime a defender makes contact with him, he goes down. Unless he plans to outrun everyone on the college field, I just don't see how he is a featured back in anyone's offense.

The only reason why people are goo goo over him is because someone put 4 stars next to his name.

^100% agree. People need to remember that when the staff ranked the RB's they wanted from the state of GA, Charles Perkins was #1.

I don't think so, I believe that he meant colorful as in the last name, like Green, White, Brown, etc. Still not a great clue though

True....Good point. I'll take either one of them. I really think it's probably Green though.
