I believe the safety positions to be the strongest of any position on the defense. In the Spring game, I was amazed at the ability of our entire defensive backfield to stay with their men and be agressive on stopping the run.
Dawan Landry is a physical speciman of what a football player should look like. I think he is going to be super.It is no secret a lot is also expected of Chris Reis. This should be an extremely strong position.
James Burton and Nathon Butler both have the height and weight for their position. Both have shown they are athletic and also looked good in the Spring.
With Roberson and Gaston in the mix, mark this position up as a strong one.
I really like the strength and athleticism of the safety positions. If the offensive line is the strength of the offense, the safety positions will be the strength of the defense.
