Saturday Football Thread

Remember when people thought Ole Miss was going to take a step back because Corral is gone? Former 5* transfers all around on display.

I know my interest in Garret Riley as a head coach doesn't excite anyone - but the 34 he is putting on Oklahoma in the first half is pretty strong. In his first year as OC the Horned Frogs they have scored 38, 59, and 42. He was as impressive at SMU.

ESPN’s constant coverage of Aaron Judge is such a perfect example of the bubble that the media lives in. Does anyone outside of NY give a öööö about AJ chasing the AL HR record?
I get angry every time they do it. If it was a real record, maybe. But since when is the AL record mean anything, especially when it’s 12 off the actual record? I’m watching Kentucky/Ole Miss college football. What makes you think, ESPN, that I give two pieces of monkey crap about a baseball pseudo-record breaking by a Yankee player?

Undefeated. Playing Oklahoma. This is the crowd you draw?
And no, it wasn't full at the start of the game eother

I've said it before. Football attendance is on the decline everywhere. It's too easy to stay at the frat, tailgate etc. and watch the game on tv. No hassles of getting in the stadium, no standing in line for refreshments, no one encroaching on your seat. I was in on a talk on the future of stadium design over ten years ago and this was discussed. Tech, as well as all schools are going to have to consider this moving forward. If you'll look, shortly after kickoff, the student section even at Ugag will start looking empty.

Was that Ivey that won the game for Ole Piss?
