Jared Ivey with the game-saving play. And GT got a mention at the end. The proven players we had were pretty much raided in the off-season.

Think it was more of rats fleeing a sinking ship than getting raided. And our dumbass fans thought we would better without guys like Ivey, Domineck, Walker, Sanders, Griffin, Gibbs, et al.

Funny how those guys are excelling else where

Not exactly “raided” more like left on their own to play for better coaches and programs currently. Hard to pass up Alabama, Ole Miss and even Arkansas right now for those players.

I think what the poster is saying is people were saying because Dominick, Ivey, etc weren’t starter’s at their current schools, while they could have been at GT. That said, the players saw the writing on the wall.

The biggest portal loss for GT was Solomon Byrd who switched to USC. He has 18 tackles, 3 sacks and a forced fumble.

Ole Miss is a fun team to watch …. except when playing us. Lane went postal on that TE that jumped offsides in the first half.

Undefeated. Playing Oklahoma. This is the crowd you draw?
And no, it wasn't full at the start of the game eother

College football is on its way out. Conference realignment, NIL, transfer portal etc. Plus, like someone else said, it’s easier to watch on a 70 inch 4K TV in the air conditioned fraternity house on the couch with access to food, booze and toilets.
