If we, a 19/20 ranked team, beat a top 5 team, we better damn well jump 4 or 5 spots. If we don't it'd be the most biased thing I've ever seen.

Wonder if we would jump ahead of VPI? And would they fall behind Miami? Where would we be in relation to Miami? Let's face it: Polls can't not be stupid. Please, please during my lifetime, please can we have a playoff?!

If we win I think we will be 12 and VPI will be 13.

This obviously somewhat depends on what other teams around us do, but that's my guess.

I bet they would just say it was a bad VT performance and focus on how they are falling from the top and it won't be their year. There are speculations for a VT national championship this year. If they lose it will be all about them losing to use. Not *Us beating them*

+1 It will lead to overrated VT discussion (which I personally believe they are) as opposed to how well we played

lets cross that bridge when we get to it. It's that kind of thought process that makes us overlook the game itself in anticipation of the result.
