Savings his job...

What would it take for Geoff to save his job at this point?

Before the season started, I was thinking for Geoff to keep his job he needed to: a) go to a bowl game (any bowl) and b) no embarrassing blow out losses. He has already blow 'b' so I am done; but what would it take for you: (Unlimited choices)

I chose 3 things that must ALL happen: Win ACC, beat UGA, and pull in another great class.

If we somehow went to the ACC championship this year plus were competitive with UGA I might could be convinced. Would need to pass the eye test also, not just the rest of the Coastal being awful or weird bounces or whatever.

Another? Seems to me the talent is appallingly low now. He’s getting blown out more and more as all the CPJ talent is graduating. There is literally no talent on either side of the line, and he’s had 3 classes plus the transfer portal. CPJ didn’t have the Portal luxury. In the last 5 games we scored 0 three times. The defense is disgusting. What will it take?

I’m not sure why people think he’s a good recruiter. The classes are statistically only marginally better than before, but the actual talent level on field dropped 50%. He’s terrible in every aspect.

Winning the Costal, no matter what else happens, as much as I’ve grown to hate him, would actually buy him one more year for me, even with the Coastal being trash… but at this point ”win coastal title” might as well read “swim to the moon”. And I’d be fine without even giving him the chance to do so.

I think it's a little more nuanced than that. This weekend is pivotal, a must win for him two stay two more weeks. The win gives him a pass through Pitt (back-to-back wins changes everything if that happens, but he can ride out a loss here). That makes Duke and Zima wins necessary to get to 4-3. Anything less and he's gone. If they do that, we pivot again and he rides out the season (3-4 might do that just to save money). Which would make the last four ACC games critical. He'd need 3-1 or 2-2 with a Miami win at home to stay. öööö the Dwags.

Some of y’all retarded.

I’m all for firing him now based on what we’ve seen for 3+ years, but if goes out and wins the Coastal and beats UGA, I’ll hop back onboard. I think the odds of that are about the same of your mom stopping being a dirty whore, but if it does happen, I’ll be screaming money down and lifting weights on the sideline.

Come at me bro

The impossible, win out the season plus bowl win. I still won't like him and will be expecting another complete colapse.

If he committed to taking a $1 paycheck for the next 5 years, that would also help build back my support for him, but it's as likely to happen as the other bullshit on this list if he gets fired soon as we all expect. So looking at the list the only option that seems realistic to me is the last one.
