Saw something interesting wrt recruiting...

The top five DEs from Georgia according to one recruiting service are

David Paulsen, Euclid Cummings, Izaan Cross, Emanuel Dieke, and Chris Crenshaw.

We have landed three of the five and there is a good shot we land a fourth.

I thought it was interesting...

The other site shows that we have commitments from their top three Georgian "rush" DEs and their top "strong" DE is Izaan Cross.

I asked a buddy of mine who's fairly close to the program that question, and he said he didn't expect our DL depth to be that bad, and would be surprised to see us move away from a 4 lineman base defense.

I'm jealous of the post count.

I think coach is trying hard to recruit the most athletic line players that he can find. He is not concerned about what side of the ball they play on. The same characteristics that make a good DE make a good OLman in PJ's system. Quick off the snap and able to move. Versus Pro Style ungodly strong with more emphasis on being able to shuffle than run.
