GT will not go 2-10. We might go 3-9 but I would be shocked. The ACC Coastal sucks. Did you read the article yet? The guy was complimentary of GT. Writing about GT football in May kind of requires one to discuss the transition from a very effective offense the last 11 years to a very different one with no QB who has completed more than 5 passes in college on the team.
 
This guy's formula is mostly based on returning production. So he didn't have much relevant data for us. I didn't have a problem with the text of the article. I just don't think his formula is useful in our case.

My worry about this team is not actually any kind of skill thing. I think our 1 deep is going to play some stellar football. Problem is I think we're mostly only 1 deep, primarily along the lines. If our transfers get waivers we could have a reasonable expectation of a bowl game, but against the better half of our schedule, we are going to wear down. Some young guys are going to have to really discover themselves if we want more. Hopefully the November momentum and 5 star developmental programming is the real deal.

Naw, we are decent, at least. We have a decently sized OL, big receivers, tons of RB, and James Graham to scramble like a mad man from QB. Defense will be blitzing and crazy, we will be mediocre at least there. Our 1 deep will ball. Some of our 2 deep will also ball. Just a little thin.

I sort of see what BEE is saying. We won nothing under Gailey and to pretend we have been wandering in the wilderness under CPJ is not accurate. We had three very good to great years but the offense was wearing out fan support lately. I was at some games last year and there was just no emotion.

I don't think we have to kiss some high schooler's ass but we do need to make GT an attractive place to sign.

OTOH, didn't Mark Richt show up and give Jacob Eason some morning head? Uh, if it gets to that point, I'm done with GT Athletics.

Agree regarding the offense. People were just tired of it, especially hovering around .500 and CPJ sensed it.
