me....not so much.

they're decent but i'm confident. late in the game, their d's are going to be TIRED.

they both have passing o's and i'm pretty confident with our secondary and i think we'll be able to force them to try to run...which i didn't see either perform well

i believe our pass rush will definitely be better than fsu's. one of fsu's starting DE's was very unimpressive...not so much miami, they seem to have more playmakers but we saw how their athletes did last year.

either way. i'm pretty confident that our offense will be able to continue to score while fsu and um will be punting at a greater rate than us. so, if we can limit turnovers...i hope we'll be good enough to pull out a win.

the road thing may be tougher in tally. we shall see.

Nope!!

Both defenses are quick but seem to over-pursue which will play into our hands. My only concern is turnovers but lets get past Clemson first.

"Scared?" Nah.

They look exactly the same on D that they did last year. They just hung 30 on each other. They do look a bit more effective offensively.

I forgot about the FG kicking as another concern.

I was visiting friends in Tally and was there for the game Monday night. First off, what an atmosphere. Say what you will about FSU, but they know how to tailgate. I was at a tailgate with 18 kegs (yes, you read that right) and a large amount of GORGEOUS women. The game itself was packed, I think announced was a little over 80k. I'm not going to lie, its going to be tough to play there. I was in nosebleeds and it was still very very loud. That damn annoying Tomahawk Chop is so overplayed, but it gets the stadium loud.

As far as their teams, I was impressed that their offenses were actually functioning in this game, as that is usually not the case in this game every year. Harris was obviously playing great, I saw him in HS when he was at Miami NW and my high school from central FL, Lake Brantley, played them in the state championship, and man has that kid improved. Made good decisions and some great throws. I also thought Christian Ponder looked very solid, which bodes well for FSU, because it seems like normally they don't figure out their QB situation until midway through the season. How the **** FSU didn't score at the end, I do not know.

FSU's defense is very young. Their secondary is their weak spot, and I think we'll burn them for a few bombs when we play. Our offense should move the ball, but Dekota Watson will slow down Dwyer up the middle. I foresee Roddy and the other A-backs having big games for us. Miami's D is very fast and very athletic, but I didn't get the feeling that they would do well against a smash-mouth running team. Evidenced by last year's game. But I have a feeling they will be much more prepared and the game will be pretty close.

I've watched CPJ teams for many years now and it is common for annually opposing team players to comment that they feel good about their defensive plan to stop the 3-0. It is also very common to see these players hanging their heads or arguing with teammates in frustration after they have been burned repeatedly. ;)
