Scenic Stadiums

I dunno, I’ve been up there 4 or 5 times for games and otherwise and liked it OK. Even had a random scalper guy strike up a conversation about Jimy Lincoln with me on the bridge on the way to a Pirates game one time. :-)

The ketchup bottle pouring ketchup every time Pitt scores is unbearable. Heinz is, a gross, hfcs, soybean oil loaded imitation of everything they make.

The people aren’t that nice either. I lived in Scranton and Philly before so I understand how things work in that state. It just wasn’t enjoyable. Its an NFL stadium and doesn’t work for college. Pitt used to have an on campus venue but they shut it down.

Likely what the idiots in charge of GT are going to do in favor of MBS. There is just too much money behind mothballing BDS.

I’ve always been a Hunts ketchup man myself, although the older I get the less ketchup I use. What does this have to do with stadiums? I don’t know my mind wanders.

I've been to a lot of stadiums. BDS is special.

Went to BYU twice for Tech games. It deserves the spot. All the Wasatch Front schools in Utah are on the list. UTEP should be higher.

This. Utah should be higher. BYU has more impressive mountains behind, though. Would def add Utah State to the list, possibly Weber State, and certainly University of Montana.

MBS is an awful venue, especially considering the cost. Putting a sunroof in a stadium doesn't make it an open air stadium anymore than me opening the sunroof on the Terrain makes it a convertible

He’s right about Auburn. The snow-capped mountains of east central Alabama are among the most beautiful in the world.

Heinz is delicious goodness? I'd eat ketchup made in Wuhan China before I'd eat anything made by the Heinz family.
I couldn't give a öööö about the Heinz family or John Kerry when it comes to ketchup. Heinz is the best you can buy, that is until McDonald's bottles their own ketchup and sells it in stores.

You could always just take some low-budget tomato paste and add a öööö ton of preservatives then add half a gallon of high-fructose corn syrup then a pint of regular corn syrup to it - pretty sure that would get you to the same spot.

Saying Heinz is the best is like saying Little Debbie's are the best pastry in the world. I get some blue-collar Pittsburgh steel working saying that but did not expect to heat that here. Maybe go to Trader Joe's or the organic isle of your local grocery store - there's like a whole world of products out there that really are good.

I like Little Debbies just fine. There are “finer” pastries, but none that I can get for $2 at my grocery store.

Heinz ketchup, on the other hand, really is the gold standard. Nobody wants some hippy-ass Dijon ketchup from Crunchy’s Granola Market.

The scenery at AZ St, Southern Cal, and Ole Miss top anything on that list.
I did the bucket list game right before Covid and went to the 2018 USC v Colorado game at Olympic stadium in LA. USC won and I had a great time. Not so much the view outside (it was a night game) but the stadium itself is a sight to behold.
