SEC and the Jacket faithful

I don't really like anyone in the SEC. Mostly becaus of their fans, but if I had to pick a team I'd probably go with Tn maybe. I loathe uga, florida, and alabama. florida might be bearable but I can't stand tebow

Just out of curiosity, what don't you like about Tebow?
 
Alot of folks don't like Tebow??
It looks like he is 90% of Florida's offense this year.

I'm still debating which I like the least... SEC fans or Miami fans.
 
SEC fans aren't all bad. I really don't like UGA fans. They really seem to be the worst, not because we are Tech just because. I'm on FB and they bitch about every thing and every team. They hate every team that has beat them or can beat them. It's funny to see the **** they post. Bama fans think they created football but other than that I can get along with the others.
 
I have to agree with that posts. Tebow is ESPN 'S FAVORITE DRUG!
They have ran the speech 3 weeks straight, I think we get the picture.

I go to a few of the Florida games with a friend who is a UF grad. Want to start a huge arguement among Gators? Ask them who they hate the most. The older fans, like my buddy, despise Georgia. The younger ones hate FSU. Of course, I hate em both. Who in the SEC do I like? Florida, their fans are pretty nice. Auburn, because they play the mutts and my wife's entire family went there. South Carolina, because of the "Ole Head Ball Coach" and my daughter is in graduate school there. The rest of them, I either hate like the mutts or are indifferent see Miss. State

The SEC --a scale of 1 to 10 who to root for, with 10 being the highest honor.

East:
Florida- (7.0) They hate UGA, good enough for me.
Georgia- (0.1) We may need them to beat somebody one day.
Kentucky- (3.0) Low marks for their snobby basketball fan base.
South Carolina- (9.0) Spurrier hates UGA. I like Spurrier.
Tennessee- (6.0) Always a potential thorn in the side of UGA.
Vanderbilt- (8.0) Why not pull for Vandy?

West:
Alabama- (1.0) Favorite SEC team growing up. Turned on them once the brick flew through Bill Curry's window.
Arkansas- (1.5) Petrino is putrid.
Auburn (2.0) Beat UGA and Bama for me --then just go away.
LSU- (8.0) Always been one of my favorite SEC teams. Not going to turn on them just because GT wasn't ready to play in the CFA.
Mississippi- (7.0) Always liked their uniforms.
Mississippi State- (3.0) I just don't care.

Exactly my feelings. I can't stand the Tebow lovefest, but there just doesn't seem to be anything to dislike about the guy himself or the player he is, and overall Florida seems to be a pretty good program with a pretty good guy as a coach.

If it wasn't Tebow ESPN would find someone to cum all over. They tried and failed with the little pickle at Notre Dame. They did it with LeBron in basketball.

They love trying to be the next 'Nostradamus' when it comes to predicting the big star, and heaven forbid they get it right cause you won't stop hearing about it.

I like this and agree with all it except Florida, I just don't know any cool people from Florida. A whole lot of mouth and the blue jean shorts!
 
I will pull for Florida and sometimes Tennessee but to hell with the rest of em.
 
Vandy is the only SEC school that copes with similar academic hurdles like Tech and some other ACC schools. Plus, they also have a small fan base like Tech and the school is located in downtown Nashville. You have to pull for that underdog, except when we play them of course.
 
I've always had a soft spot for Auburn. I had a good time there and met some good people the few times I've been down there, and I seem to know tons of Auburn people here in Atlanta. And, even though they won a ton in a row before last year, they're also the "second" school in their state.

That, and I really, really, really hate Bama fans. Not just the assholes who post on message boards or yell stuff at you in games, but every one I've met personally has been an asshole about Bama being the best. Seriously, from a non-biased perspective, Bammer has the worst fanbase, worse than UGA.*

*Not sure what school you like, so sorry if you're a Bama fan.
 
Oh yeah, and I agree on Vandy. They're like Duke without the son of satan basketball program.
