Great post. I'm so ****ing tired of hearing about SEC's great D's.

Before our game they were a 'great' defense. Only gave up 3 points to Auburn, etc, etc. This is as good a defense as BC and VT, etc, etc.

We kick their ass and now they're a mediocre defense, and Tech still can't hang with the Auburns.

I remember attending the last two Auburn games and kicking their asses.

I'm surprised we ran down that Miss St running back with all that SEC speed.

Apparently, all that SEC defensive speed is in the middle of the field, because it was nowhere to be seen on the edges.

Actually, he was nursing a groin injury and probably not up to full speed luckily enough for us. The D showed good pursuit running him down, turned out ok in the end with another MJ highlight.

Last year, before our staff was tracking "efforts" every week, there'd be no way we'd have had 3 guys chasing that dude down. And remember, it took 2 guys to tackle him. One hung his ankle long enough for Jahi to (literally) punch him in the ear to bring him down.
