ThHought this would make for an interesting discussion, I was talking with the big man GTG8er at the tailgate yesterday about defenses in the SEC and specifically about the Mutts/AU game last week, and why a lot of the reason they won was because their defenses were playing like ACC defenses (or at least the top tier) tend to play, lots of stunting, heavy blitzing, etc, instead of only relying on your dline and speedy DEs like most SEC teams use.

Ive traveled to most of the games this year so I haven't had a chance to watch as many games as I normally do, but I'm wondering if other SEC teams have starting to change to a more attacking defensive style, and if its starting to happen in those teams that traditionally play some ACC teams first (Mutts/UF/SCeast)?

Thoughts on where defensive schemes are going to go within the ACC/SEC/ and all those other conferences that pretend they play the greatest game on earth?
