Serious 2011 pump-up song

I'm beginning to think that a lot of the posters on this board think the team is full of white men in their mid to late 30's; GNR hasn't been relevant in over a decade and a half.

I'm 23, which I consider to be pretty young. Welcome to the Jungle is still a popular song, and its about as old as Enter Sandman that VPI uses so successfully.
 
some may think "the Jungle" is a reference to Atlanta... which would be ******, sir.

we definitely need to embrace the Atlanta tie-in and realize GT is in the "Nashville" of Hip Hop/Rap. I know we have had local talent on the sideline in the past and I know it doesn't hurt the "cruitin".

Use what you got!!! And that Bubba Sparxx dude would make a good NT :biggerGrin:

The tennis teams already use this to get pumped before their matches, but the football team could use it too. It is a lil old, as well as Put On, but both songs could be used sporadically throughout the games I think. They still use Put On a lot though. They used it all last year and during the spring game as well.

It'd be nice to use something brand new so that this season could have its own flavor though. I do like how VT uses the same song as tradition, but GT is already filled with enough tradition in my opinion. We need to pump some more life back into our program and get some sellouts at home!

I agree with the above that we need more artists like T.I. with our music. Get the Atlanta connection going, hell we already know T.I. comes to the games.

Hell, we're in downtown Atlanta. Bring in some people to do live intros or something. Cancel Sting Break and use the money to bring in some live performances to the game. I remember in '05 or '07 they brought in Big Boi for the UGA game at halftime.
