Sewak sucks....

Please by all means hire the next Chan Gailey or Bill Curry

Or Bobby Ross.

Back then wasn't sure about ccg, except worried about his recruiting ability.

cbc was the classic "gotta hire a Tech man" eventhough we could have hired Spurrier. Anyone could see it at the time - even after the debacle of Carson/Rodgers/Fulcher. Tech man idiocy.

we've got 2 OL coaches and this is what we put out there on the field

Succint and accurate. The D did great holding them to 26 after being on the field so often. (No TDs in the 2nd half for the Tigers). STs were alright. JT5 was JT5. But there were at least 2 defenders shrugging off a block to blow us up on every play on offense.

Fortunately for us, it's very clear what we need to work on.

As a few other have pointed out, it's as much CPJ's fault as anyone's. If Sewak really is a debacle, Paul should have fixed it a long time ago. All this OL flopping around on the ground at the line happens right in front of Paul. He has never said that they shouldn't be doing that. He says we need to man up and hit somebody, but he's never specifically talked about how our guys end up on the ground and not the defense. It's our scheme for OL to cut block. And big aggressive DL just blow right past it.

I didn't see a lot of flopping last night. I saw DL shedding blocks with ease. Devine looked slow. His backup did much better. Burden looked small.

We should have started holding. Use the BC method and take a couple of series of flags. The refs will stop calling it.

Play calling was bad. The way Clem was playing, we should have been running the midline.

I'd have to watch the tape, but it seemed like our Oline struggled to get to the second level, generally whiffed on all perimeter blocking, and was having the snap count jumped.

All öööö that's coached. CPJ's offense lives and dies on OL play. If sewak can't get it done, he should leave.
I noticed that while trying to get to the next level, several of our OL gave an obligatory forearm shiver to the DL in front of him after which the DL quickly blew up the play in the backfield. This, I don't get. Do any other FBS OL's do this?

That is all. Oh yeah.. We have FCS quality lineman.

So if we have FCS quality lineman, maybe Sewak doesn't actually suck? Maybe he is doing a brilliant job coaching the guys up?

And did you see where we lost one of our best OL to an injury?

No good team on our schedule has to spend an inordinate amount of time to prepare for our O.

This is verifiably false. Every good team on our schedule spends portions of their spring schedule specifically on us. No other team commands the kind of specific attention that teams, especially good teams, give to Georgia Tech in preparation. öööö, ND hired a special coach who's only job for an entire year was to develop a defense scheme vs us.

So, you know, if lying helps you deal with a loss, feel free to keep lying.

we employ a blocking scheme incapable of adapting to big boy football. Our tackles are asked to do things in pass pro no one can be successful doing when going up against good DEs. Its just a fact.

Ask me exactly why we have players in 3pt stances leaning fwd with the off hand trying to pass pro. Its a joke. there is a reason why no one in football does this anymore. A REASON. Not a trend. A REASON.

Paul can make so many tweaks to his offense to crush it...he hasn't...on him. Its not his system. His system is fine...its small techniques we don't employ to help. Its too hard on the OL....now, does that mean we all of a sudden have success vs clemson last night...who knows...but I think it gets better...

Umm, what needs to be done to make us competitive, sell more tickets, raise funds. Too bad you could not see the game tonite - well, maybe not.

We lost, we are now 14-25 vs our big 5, and in the last 9 years have won only 58% of our games.

Was one of those wins the first Orange Bowl win in 50 years? Are we still the only team from Georgia with a NY6 win? Get back with us if that ever changes. I will take 1 year out of 9 like that instead of 9 years of mediocrity which is what you are hoping for.
