Is there any other school that whines this much about the color of their uniforms?

is there any other school that changes their uniforms **cough**oregon**cough** and more importantly the color as much as we do?

i saw the new jerseys in the bookstore on sunday and feel they look good. didn't really care for last years helmets either though...

How about this taxonomy:

--Pre-CPJ metallic gold
--2008 greenish gold
--new beige/tan gold

I like the pre-CPJ metallic gold myself. Even though it is kind of the "standard" gold like Wake, Vandy, etc.

If this is the case, it saddens me that GT is wearing "Vegas gold" again this year because it looks more like beige than gold to me. The color of masking tape.

Wait, I think you're confused. You obviously missed the threads on the true color of masking tape.

Actually you need to add another category:
--"pre-vegas" darker metallic gold, c. 80s-early 90s

The old gold looks fine on the jersey as an accent, but it looks terrible on the pants. The vegas gold is better option for the entire uniform.

Sad that 50% (as of this post) care enough about a jersey color to vote for it over "who cares, let's just play football."
