That’s exactly what’s going on here. He’s not teachable. And he’s had plenty of opportunities to prove otherwise. To do nothing is to admit we’re not even trying.

SI acquired all these team blogs and put them under their banner in the name of individual team coverage. I’m not even saying you or writer Jackson Caudell are wrong. I’m saying Jackson Caudell is likely not using advanced metrics and not required to show his work to give his “ grades”. He’s just got “takes“.

He threw at least 3 balls that hit receivers in stride and right in their hands.

That being said, he seems to hold the ball too long and wait until receivers are at the sidelines rather than lead them with the ball.

That’s why I said qb and receivers. That’s crap against an opponent like WCU and there is not a good way to spin it.
 
Sims needs some receivers to step up. His receiver got beat to the ball by the defender 1 on 1 on the interception and dropped some gimme catches early. Of the 9 incompletions, I think I remember 3 or 4 drops. Either way, only 17 attempts speaks to where Chip sees the strengths of the team.
