Should TECH go back to artificial turf?

Temperatures on that material are crazy hot. In the summer months, it isn’t unusual to have shoes melt if you aren’t wearing the right type.

The “turf” is held down by ground up black rubber. That rubber absorbs heat like crazy.
Doesn't seem like a very good idea unless you are indoors. Plus, aren't folks having problems with the black crumble now? I seem to remember players not wanting to inhale it.

We should do something different with our field, like let the grass get super long. We could practice on it and know how to adapt, the opposition wouldn’t.

Ok, hear me out. I’m not thinking about slightly longer grass, but like substantially longer grass. Like 7 feet tall so no one can see. You have to react to sound and the movement of grass. It would give us an edge.

You ain't playing football in my damn yard.

And, remember playing at Tulane to start the season several years back? CPJ said he had never before had players complain during a game that their feet were burning.
it was hotter than 400 he**s that day. the plastic bags which contained newspapers commemorating the opening of tulane's new stadium melted on the seats.

The field and paint starts fading by game 3. Looks like öööö on TV

Why not just go back to Artificial Turf and be done with it?

Definitely a trolling alter.

You people disgust me. Point fingers and try to find the trolls if you want, my personal plan to bring a state of the art artificial surface to BDS has been in motion since I first saw a Georgia player take a huge bite out of our field and not die immediately of poisoning. If turf was good enough for the 1990 national title team, it's good enough for us now. Like and subscribe. #TechTurf

That damn AstroTurf cost us more recruits than CPJ’s 3O ever did. And at least one game.
