If GT wears a colored jersey (gold or navy), it would prevent a team that wears blue(i.e. Boise St) from blending in with the blue smurf turf.

Yes, why don't we bring back the BLUE jerseys we wore in the Ross years

?

Something that is very different than the opposition, just in case Suggs has to play!!!
He had trouble telling the difference in open field Saturday.

From what I can tell the WAC team is always the home team. If you go to the Humanitarian Bowl History page {here}
it shows
2002 - Boise St. in dark jersey
2001 - Clemson in white jersey (La Tech was home team)
2000 - Boise St in dark jersey
1999 - Boise St in dark jersey
1998 - Idaho in dark jersey
1997 - Cincy in white jersey (Utah was home team)

So I assume WAC team is always the home team in this bowl. Am I wrong?

BTW, if we end up playing Tulsa out there, it could be really confusing for everyone because Tulsa wears solid gold home unis.

I'm not sure if they have an alternate jersey or not. If not, this would be a great time for us to break out the navy blue jerseys again.

<font size="2" face="Arial, Verdana, Sans-Serif">Nope. The default is home wears color, visitor wears white. If either one wants to do different they have to get the agreement from the other. Thats why we have to get Wake to let us wear white at home. In fact any team could make us wear the colored jerseys at home.

In the old days the home team had the choice without exception...

We are definitely the visiting team (literally and figuratively). From Humanitarian bowl events page...

10:00am-ESPN on the air
10:01am-ACC Team Field Entrance
10:02am-WAC Team Field Entrance
10:04am-Coin Toss

In my experience, visiting team always takes the field first.

yeah, a team wearing Gold (or turf blue) would definitely be a problem for us

Cropduster, that color would show up in the snow.
Like using orange golf balls up North?

But momma always told me your blues have to match? We can't be wearing that shade, it's not an official color.
