I agree. He’s gone and perhaps TStan is as well. I’m more concerned with what Georgia Tech does from here. There needs to be a commitment from the top down to provide the focus and resources that it now takes to be a successful college football program. Tech hasn’t had that commitment since Homer Rice was AD.
Tech can be a good football program again, and should be good enough to compete in the ACC. Make the right choice in AD, bring in the right head coach, ensure he has the resources to bring in good coordinators, to recruit, get with the times where NIL and the Portal are concerned, and understand that the football program is a big part of your identity as a school.
