No two ways about it. This is just going to be one of those seasons. Sucks, but it happens.

Isn't snake bit a nice way of saying "bad"?

Snake bit would assume we are good with bad luck. We are just a bad team. Sucks to say it, but we are.

Any young fans who wondered what it was like when B*** L**** was the coach...well, it was a lot like this.

We aren't snake bit. We just aren't very good. The combo of multiple injuries and losing tons of talent and leadership to graduation has left us with less talent and depth than almost any other team in the ACC.

And don't expect a one-year turnaround next year. It will take us 2-3 years to rebuild. With our recruiting challenges and severe lack of depth, it's gonna a be a while before we are even back to the 7-5 seasons we used to bitch about during the 2010-2013 years.

No... It was nothing like this. Get some perspective. BL was a moron who wa in way over his head and progressively got worse every season. He didn't win the Orange Bowl.

I got bit by a snake once, it was a copperhead. Still won more than two football games.

If we beat UGA then it will not feel like 1994 in December...However Lose to UGA and CPJ should be sent packing!!!

Haha you were blasting every single GT board before the season talking about how great PJ is. You and ass clowns like Ramblinwreck92 are the worst.

We're not snake bit. We just aren't very good on either side of the line of scrimmage. The OL and Offense in general played better today; but it wasn't good enough to win and the breakdowns in the second half were glaring.

We played well but for being behind. We lost a fumble and it cost us the game. Meanwhile Pitt had multiple drops that all bounced right back to their athlete.

Pitt is a very very good coached team. I think they win the Coastal. And for the historians here, see what a good coach does to get the ball into his star's hands.

We've had more than our share of bad luck / bad breaks (injuries and plays) this season. Couple that with sub-optimal recruiting strategy and unfavorable outcomes from prior recruiting classes (e.g., Myles Autry), we find ourselves in a huge hole. I think we have started to turn the corner in terms of offensive performance. Hopefully we continue to improve, get the young guys invaluable experience, get a few good wins and win the game after Thanksgiving.

CPJ is a stubborn ass (wouldn't you if you had success and people still constantly doubted you), but I still think he's the best coach for Tech for the next 5-10 years. Yes, I think recruiting, which had a slight uptick this past season, will dip a little. But I think CPJ will right the ship soon and have us back to winning 8-9 games and contending for an ACC championships.

Go Jackets! Go CPJ!

Maybe our guys read the headlines in the off season about how good they were suppose to be this year and forgot how hard they had to work last year to achieve what they did. Maybe the seniors last year did carry the team on its back and this team has no leadership to speak of. Whatever the excuse, this team needs to look at itself in the mirror and decide who wants to play and who doesn't.

We're not snake-bit, we're just GT. We have a great season followed by several mediocre ones with an occasional shitshow like 2015 thrown in for good measure. Nothing new.
