So what now?

Keep playing and try to get better. That is about all you can do. Hopefully the experience will lead to expedited development of the players, but we are going to continue to take some lumps.

Yep. Hope next year is better.

Fire Sewak.

Yep. I don't care about how bad our perimeter blocking is. We can't get a push on a simple dive play, and our pass blocking is disgustingly bad. We had some guys running wide ass open today, but JT had no idea since he was too busy running for his life.

That just can't happen, and we can't blame it on injuries. Something major has gotta change.

Offense will be fine. Real problem is the lack of perimeter blocking from WRs and ABs. Those guys are young and will get better.

Defense is the real problem. We're going to be bad. Like Groh bad.

What makes you think the offense will be good?

I'll tell you what now...

Get some n*****rs with a blowtorch. I'm in.

We lost 5 starters in our skill positions on offense and then we lost our next 7 on our depth chart. What do you want CPJ to do? Pull a miracle out of his rear end?

Haven't seen this team roll over and quit yet this season regardless of how inept they were playing, if they were down or up. They are young, but will learn. I'm with you that next year will be better because of the lumps they take this year. I think this year boils down to 2 things...
Maintain the bowl streak (they need the extra month of practice to get next year rolling), and the obvious one...

Win the Pitt game. What else can be next? We've spent far too much time and energy worried about rankings, bowls, championships, etc. since last year's team enjoyed great success. We're 2-4. Win your next one - a winnable home game.

Last year we were supposed to suck. This year we were supposed to be awesome. [/B]We could see literally anything next year.

Just goes to show you that most gt fans don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. Last year we had all the pieces except qb. Those players made JT look good. They are gone and JT looks like crap.

Huh? I don't care who you are at QB. If you are running for your life you look bad. Last year we were blocking and it gave JT time to run the plays. Not gonna happen this year. I got the gesture that you are saying JT isn't a dynamic player. 1 against 7 is a no win situation.

Forgive me if I took your post wrong.

This year sucks, yes.

With that said, we have still put up no less than 20 points in every contest this season. It isn't the end of the world.

The last four games, that was in junk time. If you think points when we are 20 down are equal to ones when the game is competitive, you're smoking some good stuff.

For the team, you are supposed to have the same mindset as you would after the Tulane game. You need to focus on execution regardless of results.

For the bigger question, if the three RS Sr. OL and one RS Jr. are missing assignments, Sewak should be fired. Some of the bad-looking runs are BB's making the wrong cuts, BTW. For pass protection and general blocking, Clemson's DL is very good. The OL getting beat on some plays doesn't mean Sewak should be fired, but missing assignments definitely does.

So it was our offense's fault we gave up 38 to UNC in the second half, or that we spotted Duke AND Clemson 19 points in the 1st quarter? Got it. By your logic all time after the first 10 minutes of play is junk time.

Your pessimism is a symptom of being comfortable seeing us put up 35, 42, and 45 points a game. We're putting up 20 this year. Get used to it. It isn't great, but we aren't getting shut out at home like Missouri, either. Missouri by the way - they won the SEC East last year.

When it counts, our offense is horrid. We hired a coach who makes himself offensive coordinator. It is not working in the first half. Those three and outs kill a defense, just like it did against Utah, Air Force, MTSU, etc. When the offense shits the bed, we have no chance.

That's literally all offenses.

However, when our offense works, it's literally the most efficient offense in modern college football history.

When it doesn't, we have no outs and it is failing.
