So why are we 4-3?

Fixed that for you.

A lot of people seem to be forgetting that even if we hit the FG, Maryland got the ball back with close to a minute left in the game.

That's why it would have been nice to keep playing for the TD there.

I haven't forgotten it. richt didn't play for the FG with a minute left vs Vandy. He played to kick the FG with no time left.

We needed another first down to make the FG extremely likely and to run the clock out. Gailey's decision-making in the MD game reminded me of O'l late-game decision-making, stupid!

Speaking of which, how long did it take MD to kick the FG to send the 01 game to overtime? They had plenty of time to still win the game even after we TRIED a 52 YARD FG!

It was horribel clock managment by GT and perfect by the genius from MD.

It's also a pretty good reason to go with a run instead of a pass, to be honest, especially since we're supposedly a run team and our passing offense supposedly sucks.

Sometimes the football doesn't bounce our way
like the int returned for TD against UVA. taylor bats it down--hits off a helmet and straight into the hands of the defender--it's just not your day when that ish happens.

we battled back but not having the senior leadership in TC in the huddle was huge. i think he could have calmed the line on that 4th and 1. now that i think about it...we probably wouldn't have had a 4th and 1. you never know.

Let's just rationalize our way out of a losing season. While we're at it, it's not so bad to wind up .500 again with a shot at "A BOWL."

The rationale is that we won more than we lost. Not that we missed our promise by a mile.

TECH does this routinely and we're paying 2m a year for a HC that just wants to retire easy with a lot of money.

We need new leadership.

When did we start paying him $2 mill a year?

Once they're putting 9 guys in the box, then you might want to pass a bit. No matter how much your passing offense sucks.

We call the play that we made to DJ Donley against Miami against MD and things could have turned out very differently.

Unless they call rock vs scissors, in which case you needed to call paper.
