Solution to our kicking woes......

Guys, just had a chance and to see the summary on ESPN last night so this was my first chance to catch up on the game.

Surprised to read of the kicking problems yesterday. Was the weather causing turf problems for the kickers?

No, Blair was taken out of the game by the time the rain started really coming down. He hit two kickoffs in the endzone, but then kicked two kickoffs out of bounds and missed two short field goals. Hopefully CPJ replacing him will get his mind back in shape. He's capable of doing much better.

The solution is always try to set the ball on the right hash mark. Blair is money from there. All his kicks hook from left to right. All his free kicks out of bounds go out on his left sideline. Both Clemson kicks were on the right hash. His UNC misses were on the left hash. He either misses b/c of the hook or trying to compensate for it.

Also, would it be possible for him to kickoff from the right hash? This may solve his kickoff problems.

Since I live in Italy, maybe I can get one of the high school kids to go over there to be our kicker.
