Some information I learned from looking at our 2022 Football Roster...

How is it when we have a new coach or coordinator it’s a positive but when an opponent has a new coach or coordinator it’s a negative for the opponent.
It isn't always. We have a new OC because we fired the old guy and upgraded. Clemson has a new OC and DC because theirs both left for HC positions, so they had to fill big roles. They may have some good coaches in place but I can't imagine either being an upgrade or a positive immediately. Same with Pitt, Mark Whipple resigned and they had to replace an OC that had been very successful. Then you have VT, UVA, Duke, and Miami all with completely new staffs and those very seldom produce in year 1.

If Tillman is defensive pass game coordinator, and Turner is defensive run game coordinator, what part of the defense is Thacker coordinating?

He will be in charge of making sure the kickoff tee is removed from the field after we kickoff and get ready to go on defense.
