Brad Jefferson is not an answer at LB. He might not be the slowest guy on the team, but it takes him forever to accelerate. And if a RB makes a cut? Forget about it.

They started going to schools that featured linebackers, like Tenuta did.

I thought much of the Tenuta-hate was misplaced, but so is most of the Tenuta-love that forgets the times when his all or nothing approach yielded nothing.

People discuss whether this team or that has "figured out" the TO. Well, the same was being said of Tenuta's defense. Good QBs could attack our blitzes by throwing to the hole created by the blitz and getting rid of the ball quickly.

Yeah. I mean one of our linebackers only got inducted into the college football hall of fame this week ... what tradition and history of featuring linebackers could we possibly leverage.
