Because Hatcher is making about $250,000 now. So we are going to pay him $1.25 Million just to be our coach.

Those economics do not compute. This has to be bogus.

Yeah, but if he is worthy of being a GT HC then he is probably worthy of a pay check on par w/ the job. That still isn't that much relatively speaking is it?

Why? That's low-midrange rate for a HC in a BCS conference.

I am not going to comment on how bogus it is, but how much do you think Muschamp makes now and how much do you think he would be offered? Muschamp probably isn't making anymore than Hatcher and maybe less.

I would think that if we hired a top assistant that we would pay them about the same as Chan. $1.2M is only slightly higher than that.
 
Mr. Hatcher is comming to Atlanta...Its a 3 year deal for 750k a year plus bounes and t.v. so it will be around 1 million a year.It's going to happen on thursday

He has to be......You can't hire a Head coach and sign him to a 3yr deal....and expect recruits to take him serious. They would want to know that their coach was going to be there for at least 4yrs
