Southern Pigskin rates the QBs in the \'South\'

Stumbled across this good piece on QBs shortly after I posted on Texstinger's thread about the surprise teams. This kinda sums up why I think GT will really surprise & why I think other teams will do well based on their QB. U just can't overrate the QB position.
Shawn Jones went 11-0-1 & won a 'National Championship' as a Soph.

David Dohrmann, writing for the Devil's Den, rates the QBs of the ACC. The only problem I see in his analysis is that VT's Brian Randall is rated way too high. If Randall, in fact, turns out to be anywhere near as good as Dohrmann thinks he is then VT will also be a big surprise in the ACC race & will be considered to be vastly underrated in preseason.
I don't think Randall can raise the Hokies up from *th place & will be replaced by Marcus Vick, who will have to have a learning curve for his breakout, next yr '05.
Again, another ACC writer sees Reggie Ball as a star in the wings. Seems everyone is waiting to see if this is the yr Ball breaks into true stardom.
A very good piece to read;
