Consecutive punt returns of 27 and 32 yards, penalties on our returns, missed FG, etc, etc, etc. We can only lose the field position battle for so long before it kills us!

Yep ...punt coverage was abysmal. I have no idea where coverage was on the punt return that set up GA's winning TD drive, the kick was high and near the sideline and after the return man caught the ball there was no one within 5 yards of him.
Untimely penalties really hurt ...bad. The second quarter drive where penalties took GT from the 9 to eventually out of field goal range may have cost GT the game...could have been up 14-7 at the half with the defense playing the way they did in the second half.
The interception, of course, was the nail in the coffin ...I'll just leave it at that.
Pretty d*** disappointed right now.
I do want to come back and add that this really was an exciting game, I like defensive football ...really enjoyed it up until that second blown punt coverage ...kinda felt like the tide turned for the worst right there with that one play.
