How many kickers get drafted every year? How many kickers are in the NFL vs how many college teams there are? Yes, he was a generational talent.

You must've missed - or more likely, ignored - the part where I mentioned that "He is greatly missed."

Forget "generational" - the point is there are plenty of NCAA PKs who can kick a 45 yd FG. It shouldn't be that difficult to recruit one of 'em. You don't have to be a "OMG Generational!!" PK to ööööing kick a 45 yd FG.

whatever. We should not have problems getting a guy on campus who can make a 45 yd FG.

The kick-off guy cost us 14 points. Forget placekicking and field goals, we just need a strong leg who can kick the ball out of the end zone every time. Then we don't have to worry about kick-offs.
