Agree. I'd be for taking as much of that out as we could and restoring the symmetrical look of the stadium. Someone on another board suggested filling the space freed up with a beer garden or plaza, which would be a great idea.Upper North still looks like a cancerous growth.
Not sure if beergarden would be legalAgree. I'd be for taking as much of that out as we could and restoring the symmetrical look of the stadium. Someone on another board suggested filling the space freed up with a beer garden or plaza, which would be a great idea.
The key would be to lose the seats to better match capacity with demand and also restore as much as we can the look of the stadium circa 1990...Not sure either, but some sort of plaza supporting additional tailgating or something highlighting the history of Tech Football would work..
Only not losing any games would do that. ;)The key would be to lose the seats to better match capacity with demand and also restore as much as we can the look of the stadium circa 1990...
Why not? Beer sales are legit .Its just a different seating/game day experience option. Not sure if beergarden would be legal
I think any area of beer sales has to be separated from other seating, like the club access. Maybe it's changed idkWhy not? Beer sales are legit .Its just a different seating/game day experience option.

The club lounge may as well be a beer garden. Not sure if beergarden would be legal
I always thought the phrase beer garden was a misnomer. There are never any plants growing there and beer is not coming out of the ground. The club lounge may as well be a beer garden.

Even Georgia Southern has one at its stadium - and that's in a town where you couldn't buy liquor until about 30 years ago.Not sure if beergarden would be legal
Try 2 years ago. That just passed in 2022.Even Georgia Southern has one at its stadium - and that's in a town where you couldn't buy liquor until about 30 years ago.
