NOTES: Johnson said running back Roddy Jones, recovering from a dislocated wrist, returned to contact drills on Monday and may play on Saturday. Johnson said he may make a "game-time decision" on Jones, who rushed for 690 yards last season. ... Johnson said freshman receiver Stephen Hill, a top recruit, will play. Hill is listed as Demaryius Thomas's top backup. ... Wide receiver Tyler Melton is out with a left knee injury. Linebacker Kyle Jackson is out with a foot injury.

Article also touches on the experiment with moving Coop out of the wolf position. Damn, Saturday can't get here fast enough!!!

I pity Clemson's DC.

CPJ and the coaching staff are probably laughing their butts off thinking up stuff to do Saturday for the benefit of gamefilm.

Imagine its Sunday morning and Clemson's DC pops open the film cannisters, cues up the projector and his jaw hits the floor as he realizes that not only can you not prepare for CPJ's juggernaut offense in one week but he only has two and one-half days.

Their first game is Middle Tennessee, so I'm sure they've been preparing for it at least a little.

I'd rather catch them off-guard. Keep some of those tricks for when we need them.

Nah, not much. MTSU runs a type of spread so they have devoted a lot of time to it. Dabo said he wished that Clemson had a easier opponent in week 1 so they could prepare more for GT.

Alright I got ya. So basically we have Thomas, Cone, Hill and Greco for this weekend.

I read on one of the clemson forums that their schedule is unfair b/c they only get five days to prepare for us and we can prepare for them b/c we play JSU whereas they only have a couple days b/c they play a real team in middle tennessee. hilarious.

:crybaby:

Whoa. Hill appears to have made the varsity. Whoa. ('nounced "wo" for you dingbats)

MTSU beat maryland last year. Plus the run the spread. You have to prepare for them. It sucks for Clemson, but such is life. UGA and UNC had two weeks for us last year.

Right now I'm wondering why we switched Correy Earls to DB. Unless he was that bad at WR...

It looks like Clemson is already preparing their excuses for their impending doom.
