Am I the only one who thinks we need to pass the ball, whenever we do, a little bit more to Stephen Hill? He had a great game and I think he'll be a nice compliment to BayBay by the end of the season. The passing game seems to be improving every week since the Clemson game.

Yes, he definitely has to be the #2 receiver on passing plays. I haven't paid attention to his blocking, so I can't comment on how great he is in that category.

Stephen Hill + Bebe on passing plays is just scary. Both of those guys have great hands and speed.

cajun they will be scary when we burn a defense at least couple of times per drive not couple of times a quarter.

I was glad to see us getting him more involved. Did he even have a reception before yesterday?

Hill is definitely another weapon

I don't know how he blocked. I do remember Doc Walker pointing out that he wiffed on an ugly play, but maybe there weren't many of those. In our offense wide receivers simply must block to make the whole thing work.

In the tiny glimpse I got of him with the ball in his hands, he looks like the kind of receiver that is dynamite in space. Not only does he have the speed, he looks to have the moves that can make a 10 yard pass into a score.

If he can get open and catch it, Josh will gain confidence in him and we might actually have a two wide receiver passing game.

Yellow Jacket, I don't think ANY wide receiver not named BeBe had caught a pass before yesterday.

He blocked better than Cone did. remember that called back touchdown vs. miami...that hurt.

I feel badly for Tyler Melton. Whenever he gets on the field, the cornerback probably says to him, "You ever gonna see the ball in your hands?"

Early injuries this year and last year are hurting him worse.

I did notice a few good blocks from him yesterday. That's not to say he didn't miss any blocks, but I didn't notice anything atrocious.

Melton hasn't played all year. The receivers that played were bebe hill sims fisher cone.

First time I have seen Sims in there this year, with Jaybo back I guess he is taking all his practice reps at WR again

Too much talent to leave off the field? Perhaps CPJ promised him playing time his freshman year to get the commit?

I was thinking along the lines of the playing time promise also.

I really am still not sure how PJ recruited this guy (and how he will attract future high caliber WRs).

Pretty sure it's the former and not the latter. CPJ doesn't strike as a guy who promises playing time. Any coach who does is either a crappy coach or a liar (sometimes both).

CPJ tells recruits that he will not promise them anything.

Hill is a starter now. That's why he wasn't redshirted.

Hill blocked very good from what I saw from section 212, they tried twice to get him loose on that WR Screen, once there was no blocking for him and the other Josh over threw him. Hill and Bebe will probably start opposite other the rest of the year as long as the kid blocks as good as he did saturday
