ND beat us on time of possession.

ND had 13 first downs, yet only 122 yards net offense. (lot of going backwards)

Tech and ND were similar in our 3rd down conversion ratios (5 of 13 for us, 5 of 16 for them)

Not surprising, but worth note, we had a higher average gain per rush attempt (6.2) than per pass attempt (5.0).

And what are "miscellaneous yards?" We apparently had -67 of those.

Third down conversion for GT was a problem --particularly in the first half (1 of 6) where there were four or five possessions that ended up third-and-long situations.

Might be a strange thing to say when your team rushes for 265 yards --but in the first half there were two or three possessions deep in ND territory where GT chose to run on 2nd and long where you may have preferred to see TB put it in the air.

Want to say that I'm not complaining --I don't complain when my team defeats ND 33-3 in South Bend --just an observation on down-and-distance situations.

I can't complain at all about offensive production in general. I think if TB continues to have zero turnover games and can up his completion percentage to 55% or so, we'll be primed for an ACC Coastal title again.

That can solely be attributed to the passing game. When Taylor settled in a little the 3rd down conversion rate increased (1 for 6 in the first half, 4 for 7 in the 2nd).

My favorite stat for the game was ZERO timeouts called by GT on our first offensive series in either half.

Nothing confused me up more than seeing a timeout called 45 seconds into the second half.

Also 3 of the 13 were by penalty.

I think that must be incorrect. I believe that's where they put yardage for things like snaps over the punter's head, but we didn't have anything like that.

we had a blocked FG, that prob counts, but was only like -10 yards or so. Perhaps, it is -7 or -6 and NOT -67
