Stegosaurus has always been a dump. Never understood what’s going on with their facilities. That place, last in sec to get an indoor facility, etc. Guess the navigator, Tahoe,Camero, charger, challenger budget eats into the facilities budget significantly.

It has been a öööö gym since I remember first going to a game there in the early 80's.

They could build a world class coliseum and not even miss the money, but do not give a single öööö about basketball. The ladies team used to be one of the top 5 teams in the country, year after year. They don't matter anymore. The men's team is treated like a club squad. Amazing how little attention they have paid to basketball over the years.

When you have to respond this way - it usually isn't good for your reputation

I wonder how many remember that Stegman was originally a livestock exhibition center, and then they half-heartedly converted it into a basketball arena. I don't think the mutts have ever taken basketball too seriously, although they did have some decent teams when Cremins was at Tech

Could add a mid-span column like their archway.
Yeah but then the column would be at half court.

So what they really need to do is build an arch over the court then put a column on top of the arch that reaches the rest of the way to the ceiling.
