I think people are going a little wacko about recruiting. It is all about spin. Look at one list and our recruiting stinks, look at another list and we are doing well.
Look at the AJC Super Southern 100 (just look at it online and do not pay them any subscription money). In reviewing the list of Super Southern 100 recruits, here are how the ACC schools are doing so far:
UNC, NCSU --- three out of the 100
GT, FSU --- two out of the 100 (although FSU is surely going to increase but one of their current crop is a kicker which should not count IMO)
UVA, Clemson --- one out of the 100
Maryland, Duke, Wake --- ZERO out of the Super Southern 100.
Poor Ralph is DOOMED!!
Of course he isn't. Neither is GT if we get the guys we have committed and some of the others we are after. I am getting nervous as always but so far I am impressed with the recruits we have.
