Take keys away from Faulkner at the two yard line

After the overtime calls by Buster Faulkner, it won't be upsetting if he decides to leave or excited if he stays. Fine with it either way. It may mean more to the players, who knows.

Maybe I’m crazy but I feel the best about GT football since PJ beat ugag the first time.

It seems we have a coaching staff that can recruit elite players, and put them in a position to win against the elite teams.

The portal appears to allow players to come to GT that would’ve never been permitted in previous decades.

Probably the best chance to win was going for the two point conversion during the first overtime. It is the way LSU beat Alabama a couple years ago.

When you’re on the road one and done is probably the best strategy, especially against a deeper more talented roster.

All that being said great job to the coaches and players over two touchdown dogs and had them on the ropes.

I agree. I think Key likes to send the message that we don’t do anything different because we expect to beat UGA just like everyone else, but I think we should’ve gone for 2 then as well.

At the time I thought we should go for two but clearly we suck at going for two so it didn't really matter

The common old saying "field goals on the road is how you lose" applies again

This is what I thought as well… but then I saw us make 1 of 7 conversions. Key actually addressed this in his post game. Said they had a 2pt play they really liked, but used it during the course of the game.

I actually don’t believe he’s being completely honest and the reason being is because he was calling for the extra point in the 2nd OT when you had to go for 2. IMO, he would have gone for it in the first OT had he remembered the rules accurately.

The missed field goal cost them the game.
Or was it the decision to go for it and not take 3pts by Key?

Or was it the non-fumble call by the refs?

Or was it that we couldn't get 2-½ yards to win twice?

Or was it losing our entire defensive backfield?

There is rarely just one play that "costs" anyone the win. It was a long game.

We needed to take more advantage while we were outshining them by miles, but in the end we had 2 chances from the 2-½ to win it.

You whiners need to find something else to define your success, and be proud of this team and our coaches.

Anything else is stupid and weak

Yeah because a dude speared him in the face.

A dude with a history of spearing people in the face
