He's a beast. He made some mistakes, and yeah, he's not going to be able to carry it 40 times a game, but that was a hell of a debut.
 
He had an incredible debut. I liked just about everything we did on offense except for the fumbles.
 
If we'd won the game he would've made a Lamar Jackson leap into the Heisman race. Start the hype machine now.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday. If we won, he would be talked about more on the national stage.

May be a good thing that he's not so he works through the season without unnecessary spotlight.
 
Did an outstanding job for his first game! Just needs to hold that loaf a bread a bit tighter when he runs. Thought his decision making was sound for such inexperience.
 
His fumble was unfortunate but dang, he handled the ball 95 times and 45 were his all the way.
