tarrant is back!

I wonder what kind of "football shape" he will be in after such a long time off.

and also, is there any possibility of him getting another year of eligibility?

while no one knows what happened w/ that girl, the reality is JT lost out an entire year because of allegations that were dropped.

he has 3 years left, he won't get it back.

he's in good shape, he has been working out as much as possible, just has to adjust to the speed of the game again.

Wonder if the AJC will post a retraction of their "SODOMY SODOMY SODOMY" headline. Or if they'll even cover the story at all.

Man that's good news. Our secondary is going to be strong next year. I predict a lot of nickel.

I read it on the ramblinwreck.com site earlier at lunch, its true. I dont remember a whole lot about this guy except they said he would be a good combo with Word-Daniels.

This is great news. Welcome back Jerrard, and thanks for sticking around to see this thing through. Imagine it would have been very easy to head off somewhere else...

Good news and even better news for Jerrard! What a trial for this young guy to go thru. Was a projected starter so this is just a big win/win.

Welcome back, Jerrard!

You never know what the NCAA would do about reinstating the lost year if Tech petitioned, but don't know that there are any plans to.

This is excellent! That immediately makes our DB better. He can be the equal of JWD or better. Welcome back, JT.

Shows a lot about his character that he stayed in school the whole time. Jerrad was better than jwd last spring practices.

If adding him makes our D as good as it was vs Clemson and before, then I'm especially stoked.

The NCAA didn't dismiss him, did they? I thought it was GT's decision alone.

"After learning that all charges against Jerrard Tarrant have been dropped, he has been fully reinstated to the Georgia Tech football program," Johnson said in a prepared statement. "It is unfortunate that Jerrard lost a year of eligibility in the process, but the charges against him were something that we took very seriously."

You know, I'm not very kind to ambulance chasers, but I would love to see Tarrant file a civil suit against whoever made these false accusations....
