Pinned on the 2 and now the 8.

72 yarder by BSUs P :wow:

(I know, I know, 76 by Durant against UNC last year. I was there.)

Thread hijack:

One of the saving graces of poor offense the last couple of years was that I legitimately enjoyed watching Durant kick. I didn't like the fact that he had too, but once resigned to that he was great to have. He boomed some that were majestic. That 76 yarder was amazing.

TB just got benched. He wasn't doing much but I don't see how his back-up could be any better. I guess I am just hoping to see a "GT" guy do good.

Yea, his WRs that are apparently 'as good or better than GT ones' weren't helping either.

Wait Wait Wait....LaTech is coached by Vince Dooley's son? I can't believe I even remotely considered pulling for that asshole's son's team.

Ditto. I was "go la tech" until I saw his name. I went "wait, could it be...?" and sure enough they made a point of talking about it. Go BSU.

I like Taylor, and was pulling for him. He had a rough night. I saw 2 good passes (one caught and one dropped), and about 20 bad ones. The color analyst would say on every incomplete pass replay, "not a good throw there". It was painful to watch.

Wait a minute . . .

. . . Taylor is not a GT guy he is a LT guy. You saw last night why Reggie Ball was our starting QB for 4 years. Taylor is a nice guy but he is not a D1 College QB.

Go Jackets!

No, Tater is a GT guy just like Calvin Johnson, Mark Teixeira, or Chris Bosh.

Maybe more so than those guys, even. Tater has a degree.

pretty much what i saw when he was at Tech. nothing against the young man, but he isnt that good. that is why i thought it was so ridiculous for everyone to suggest that he should be playing ahead of the other qb we had, despite that guys limitations

TB was given a major pass against WV due to their horrible pass D

Teixeira might have a degree. Not exactly sure.

I'm not a D1 College QB either, but I still consider myself to be a "GT guy." I didn't know that being able to play a D1 sport was a prerequisite to being a part of the Institution.

no, but staying at Tech is. he transferred, how is he a Tech guy now?

If I'm not mistaken, he finished his degree at Tech. Lots of people go on to grad school at other schools...just because Taylor had a year of eligibility remaining and chose to use it doesn't diminish his Tech degree or connection, in my opinion.

haha did anyone see this on EDSBS?

Taylor Bennett, former GT starter and Boise State commit, went 9-27 and wants to be an FBI or CIA agent. Should you ever be pursued by Bennett, get far enough away to require the use of a handgun, and you will have a good chance of escaping the encounter without harm.

i stand corrected, if he finished his degree then he is a Tech guy in some way.

then again, he did take his "eligibility" elsewhere. which other "tech guy" did that? and i am not talking about LaTech.
