To me, the most maddening thing about last year’s performances in Athens and in San Jose was the fact that we looked ill prepared and that we just didn’t care to play and compete. It is not my intent to be critical, but that’s the way it looked to me. In the fall, I live and die with the Jackets and I personally, I don’t care if we win fewer than seven games as long as we are well coached, well prepared, and play up to our capabilities.
To those of you who observe the team and who have had opportunities to attend practice (or who have contacts within the program), has CCG done anything to improve team discipline and focus …and to better insure that we are prepared and want to compete?
Has CCG made any other organizational changes that addressed this problem? If you want to e-mail me with the answer, feel free. Thanks.
