Which drops them down below us at about 278 yards/gm. Which means we would have to run for less than 230 yards to fall below them.

Ok, gang. Here's an update:

#1 Navy (season complete): 3801 / 13 gms = 292.4 avg.
#2 Nevada (season complete): 3613 / 13 gms = 277.9 avg.
#3 Ga Tech (1 gm remaining): 3388 / 12 gms = 282.3 avg.

Tech needs 414 yards to lead the nation in rushing.

As was mentioned on a Hive thread, Sherman was a President of LSU and he "ran up the score" on the state of Georgia so we owe 'em.
