I don't have a problem with where we are ranked. But
Penn State 3-1 above Iowa 4-0 ? Penn State didn't beat anyone worth **** and lost to Iowa!
Oklahoma State 3-1 above Houston 3-0? Houston beat Texas Tech and Okl State!
WTF
 
Polls are always retarded through week 5 or week 6. Every year we complain about them until about half way through the season, and then we complain again in December.

Texas was one play from being unbeaten, oklahoma lost handily on a neutral field to Texas.
 
I wish we could win on a last second field goal against a bottom-feeding-coming-off-a-losing-season-Pac 10 team and jump from 21 to 13.

They were ranked 17 and moved up to 14 in the Coach's, and went from 21 to 18 in the AP.

I see, my bad. One time I agree with the AP over the Coaches...

About that AP, nice job taking an Iowa team with 39 votes and bumping them to 13...
 
I'm probably wrong but it almost seems as if the writers and coaches are making a mochery out of the polls. Meaning, lets decided it on the field with a playoff. JMO though.
 
So in the eyes of the AP voters they were not impressed with GT's win, they take no stock in a win over UNC. Case in point, GT moves up two spots --hence, voters not that impressed. UNC falls 14 spots in terms of others receiving votes --hence, this team sucks and should have never been in the top 25 to begin with.

No truer evidence of the ACC/SEC double standard. As I posted this past week --I took my wife to the ASU/UGA game. If ASU had corners that would have TURNED AROUND ON THE DEEP BALL UGA would have scored 10 points in the game.

ASU's running back, Nance, had some good runs on his way to 92 yards, but a back like Dwyer would have easily gained 150. I'm telling you, I fear these guys none, nil, nada, they were lucky as he77 last night and are not that good of a football team. A ranking of #14 in the AP is an ABSOLUTE JOKE.
